Your concerns are well founded. Pulte has a record of building houses with serious defects--foundations that crack and settle, roof trusses that are not properly attached, stucco that is mixed and applied improperly, roofs that leak, etc. This happens when houses are built by subcontractors without the prime contractor's (Pulte's) oversight and quality control.
